Olive rockweed

Olive rockweed is a member of the fucus family of seaweeds, known for its healing properties. It is used in the kitchen much like asparagus or salad greens. Olive rockweed adds a salty and crunchy element to salads and can be a main ingredient in seaweed salads.

The Irish and French also take advantage of the high mineral and iodine content in the rockweed species of seaweed and use them for healing baths and teas.
